Getting started, answered

What happens after I send an inquiry?

We read every note personally and usually reply within one to two business days. The next step is a conversation, by phone or in person, about the house, your timeline and what you are hoping the finished home will feel like.

What should I include in my first message?

Whatever you already know: where the house is, whether you are building, renovating or furnishing, roughly when you would like to start, and which rooms are on your mind. If you have plans or inspiration saved, mention that too. Nothing needs to be decided yet.

Is there a cost for the first conversation?

No. The first conversation is simply about understanding your project and working out whether we are the right studio for it. If we are not, we will say so.

How far in advance should I reach out?

Earlier is almost always better, particularly for new construction where the most valuable decisions happen before framing. For furnishing projects, allow time for lead times on custom pieces, which can run several months.
